Full Wraparound Care service at Bathwick!
Our school is open on every school day throughout the year from 7.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Parents can book their child into Breakfast Club and into After School Club. This service provides additional activities for our children and allows much greater flexibility to the normal drop-off and pick-up times. We’ve recreated a family environment – the ‘Club family’ where children can enjoy a relaxed choice of activities at both breakfast and after school care. To book, please see more information here.

Is your child due to start school in September 2024?
We have now run all of our Open Mornings for this term. If you were unable to attend an Open Morning and would like to come for a individual tour, please contact the school office to arrange a convenient time.

How To Help Your Child With Reading
At Bathwick St. Mary we believe learning to read is one of the most important things your child will learn at our school. So much else depends on it, so we put as much energy as we possibly can into making sure that every single child learns to read as quickly as possible. We use the ‘Read Write Inc’ approach which has been shown to be one of the most effective approaches to teaching children to read. All parents and carers in Year R were invited to a reading information session in September.
